The NSW Powerchair Football Association's Summer Series, first launched in Summer 2025, provides a fun, inclusive and competitive off-season opportunity for players of all levels to stay engaged in the game.
Bringing together athletes from across the SAP, Championship and Premiership divisions, the inaugural series featured multiple teams competing in a relaxed, social format while continuing to build skills, confidence and match experience.

Held at Concord Oval Recreation Centre, the Summer Series showcased the speed, skill and teamwork that define Powerchair Football, while also creating a welcoming environment for new players to get involved and experience the sport.
Participating teams included NWS Spirit, Northern Tigers, Hills United, Blacktown Spartans, Football Canterbury and Sydney FC, with several clubs joining the Summer Series for the first time outside of the regular Premiership competition.
It has quickly become an important addition to the NSW Powerchair Football calendar, supporting player development and strengthening the community beyond the regular season.
