The NSW Powerchair Football Association’s 2026 season is officially underway, with teams returning to court for another exciting year of competition, development and community.

Kicking off at Valentine Sports Park, the new season has brought together clubs from across NSW, including Newcastle Jets Powerchair Football Club, Football St George, Sydney FC Foundation Powerchair Team and Western Sydney Wanderers FC. With strong participation across both the Premiership and Championship divisions, and a growing number of athletes involved, the competition continues to build momentum.

Off the court, the Skill Acquisition Program (SAP) plays a vital role in welcoming new players into the sport. Open to all ages, the SAP provides a fun and supportive environment for participants to learn the fundamentals of Powerchair Football, build confidence, and progress into competitive pathways.

As the 2026 season gets into full swing, the NSWPFA community looks forward to another year of high-quality football, player development, and inclusive opportunities for athletes of all abilities.
